The Covenant at Moab Part 1

As Israel gathered on the border of the promised land, Moses called them into a covenant relationship with God, on the basis of the Law of Sinai, but also sanctioned by a number of blessings and curses, consequent upon their response to the voice of the Yahweh, namely, the voice of the Spirit of Truth. In view of the excessiveness and the dreadful nature of the litany of curses, compared with the fewness of the blessings that were pronounced over the people, we consider something of the nature and working of God, and the relevance of this to ourselves in the present day.
