The Hearing of Faith

The apostle Paul begins and ends the letter to the Roman church speaking of faith, which he also identifies as a key feature of the letter. Throughout the letter, he expounds the gospel, the "mystery which was kept secret since the world began" which he calls the "power of God unto salvation." As a prelude and brief oversight of the letter, we prepare to look closely at chapters nine to eleven by way of identifying what Paul teaches us concerning the "Israel of God".
