The Spiritual Man

In his first letter to the church in Corinth Paul speaks of the Natural man and the Spiritual man. In his second letter, Paul, in the process of defending the true apostolic gospel and ministry, is identified by the governing Spirit of the Lord as the spiritual man. In the wisdom of God, while Paul is loath to focus any attention upon himself, he nevertheless is compelled to do so in such a manner as to be the instrument of God in showing us what Christ does with a man who is willing to yield himself to the Holy Spirit in life.
